My Name is Erika Johnson and I am an Art Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a BA in Art and Psychology from the University of Windsor and my diploma in Art Therapy from Kutenai Art Therapy Institute. I live in Timmins, Ontario and work within the Treaty 9 Territory and alongside the James Bay Coast for the past 10 years. I am often found outdoors either on a snowmobile, boat or 4-wheeler, either harvesting, foraging, homesteading, or simply existing amidst the woods. Both my artistic and therapeutic practice is something that rumbles beneath my day-to-day existence as I do deep dives into exploring who I am, as well as my role as a therapist within my community. From land based, to psychotherapy, to artist based invitations, I strive for consistency and continuity as the person you interact with as your therapist. Surrounding my Anti-Oppressive, Holistic and Jungian frameworks of working, my goal is always to slow down, and truly listen to your story, and walk alongside you in your journey.
